<p>Are you a cook and want to try something new? Are you an experienced assistant cook and want to grow? Jazz Lévis, a friendly private residence for seniors, is looking for someone to fill a full-time cook position. We offer telemedicine, employee assistance program, stable schedule and more!</p><br><div>POSITION DESCRIPTION:</div><p>Schedule: Monday to Friday during the day from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with one weekend out of 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. <BR>Salary: between $19.13 and $19.59 per hour</p><br><div>ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>Assemble plates of food</li><li>Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food</li><li>Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards</li><li>Peel and cut vegetables for meals</li><li>Perform other related duties</li><li>Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts</li><li>Take inventory of food products and place orders with suppliers</li><li>Use work methods consistent with the health and safety rules and cleanliness standards in effect</li><li>When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas</li></ul><div>EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>Good team player</li><li>A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent</li></ul><div>BENEFITS:</div><ul><li>Referral Program</li><li>Uniform provided</li><li>Social leave</li><li>Floating days off</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Meals in the dining room at $5.50</li><li>Human management approach</li><li>Social Club activities, gifts and substantial discounts</li><li>Ongoing training</li><li>Consistent schedule</li><li>Career Opportunity</li><li>Welcome and integration Program</li><li>Recognition program</li><li>A welcoming and tight-knit team!</li></ul><div>JOB STATUS:</div><div>Permanent: Full Time</div><div>JOB SCHEDULE:</div><div>Day time</div>- LocationLévis, QC
