East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 Grades 1 and 2 Homeroom Teacher at Theresetta Catholic School in Castor, Alberta. <p>This is a full-time temporary contract position replacing maternity leave. Duties are to commence on January 6, 2025, and the contract will terminate on June 26, 2025. <p>Individuals exhibiting the following education, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply: <p><p> Bachelor of Education <p> Ability to teach Grades 1 and 2 subjects <p> Focus on high quality, student-centered learning <p> Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership <p> Willing to be involved in extra-curricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset <p> Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all <p> Applicants with a St. Joseph's College (U of A) Certificate of Catholic Education is an asset <p><p>Interested applicants with a commitment to Excellence in Education can apply by sending the following documents to the address below:<p><p> An Alberta teaching certificate and a current copy of all university transcripts <p> A cover letter and complete resume with three references including the name of your last supervisor.
