<p>Principal Required <p>Stavely Elementary School <p>( Stavely , Alberta) <p>Applications are invited from highly motivated educators, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, for the following position in southwestern Alberta. The successful candidate will possess a clear vision for student learning, a commitment to collaborative leadership, a solid understanding of school improvement processes, and sensitivity to community needs.<p>A Principal is required at Stavely Elementary School, located in Stavely, Alberta, a grades K-6 school with approximately 86 students. The desired qualifications include the following:<p><p> Master's Degree (or in process) <p> Permanent Alberta Teaching Certificate, or eligibly for same<p> Commitment to establishing positive working relationships with parents and community partners<p> Willingness to explore innovative approaches to learning<p> Effective communication and interpersonal skills<p> An understanding of and a commitment to an inclusive learning environment<p> The capacity to provide collaborative leadership in an environment of change<p> Exceptional organizational skills and a high degree of flexibility<p> A student centered approach to learning <p> In depth knowledge of and experience with current assessment practices <p> An understanding of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People <p><p>Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
