*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in masonry work, including building and restoring structures using bricks, stones, and other materials. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics to ensure that projects are executed accurately and efficiently. The Brick Mason will work on various projects, from new constructions to renovations, contributing to the overall quality and durability of the structures. *Duties* - Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. - Build walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks. - Restore existing masonry structures by repairing or replacing damaged materials. - Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and laying materials. - Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and structural integrity. - Operate heavy equipment as needed for transporting materials or assisting with construction tasks. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. - Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time. *Skills* - Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution. - Strong masonry skills with experience in building and restoring structures. - Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints effectively. - Competence in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels. - Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently. - Ability to operate heavy equipment when required for specific tasks. - Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all projects. - Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during construction.
