*Overview* We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a strong background in the food industry. This role requires attention to detail, artistic skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a key role in creating beautiful and delicious cakes that delight our customers. *Responsibilities* * Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and company standards. * Prepare cake batter, frosting, and other components as needed for decoration. * Ensure all cakes are decorated with precision and creativity, utilizing various techniques such as piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. * Package finished cakes for delivery or display in the store. * Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service. * Stay updated on current trends in cake decorating to continuously improve skills and offerings. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in cake decorating or a related role within the food industry is preferred. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their cake preferences. * Creativity and artistic flair with an eye for detail in cake design. * Experience with basic cooking techniques and food preparation is a plus.
