*Overview* Must be familiar with paperless Kroll software. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by ensuring safe and effective medication management. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes in various healthcare settings, including acute care and pediatrics. *Responsibilities* * Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy. * Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols. * Provide patient education on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans. * Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust therapies as needed. * Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. * Stay updated on medical terminology, drug information, and pharmacy regulations. * Participate in hospital rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions. *Experience* * A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. * Previous experience in a hospital setting or acute care environment is preferred. * Familiarity with pediatrics and medication administration practices is a plus. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. * Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
