\*Job Summary\* As an Apprentice Automotive Technician at our dealership, you will work alongside experienced mechanics to learn and assist in automotive repairs and maintenance. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry. \*Responsibilities\* - Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations -Perform tire replacements - Learn to use power tools and hand tools effectively - Study and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems - Assemble and disassemble vehicle components under supervision \*Experience\* - Ability to lift heavy objects as needed - Interest in pursuing a career as a mechanic - Basic mechanical knowledge -Have completed apprenticeship course at BCIT etc. for Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship (HL) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Schedule: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person- LocationBurnaby, BC
