This role will work in close partnership with management, couriers, sales, call center, dock team, and external customers to effectively manage the daily workflow while providing a positive customer experience. This includes real time resolution i.e.) paging cases and emails for deliveries and pickups, time extension and shipment resolution.</p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong> </div><div><p>Work closely with drivers and managers to ensure all service commitments are appointed to the appropriate routes and when required liase with the two parties to meet daily performance objectives<br> Authorize drivers request to leave territory<br> Solve problems for the drivers on route including contacting customers and terminal managers to facilitate positive customer experience<br> Page drivers to gather relevant investigative facts to validate service concerns generated via emails from management, call center and sales for delivery and pickup identified by customers<br> Monitor systems and ensure drivers are connected to network as well drivers are not showing in alerts<br> Collaborate with management to re-allocate service commitments such as pickups and load balance drivers? routes when required<br> Cross functional communication within dispatch department<br> Maintain database and generate reports requested by operations management</p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong> </div><div></div></div><div><div><strong>Education</strong> </div><div><p>Partial Completion of High School </p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Experience</strong> </div><div><p>1 year experience within a dispatch role, Logistics and/or Supply Chain operations <br> 1 year experience using SalesForce & CCD system </p> </div></div><div><div><strong>Skills</strong> </div><div><div>Operations Management</div><div>Computer Operations Standards and Procedures</div></div></div></div><p> </p> <p> </p> <p><span><b>POSTING DETAILS</b><br> <b>Location: </b>566 - GTT <br> <b>Working Conditions:</b> Office Environment; Call Centre </span></p> <p><span><b>Posting Number: 65762</b> </span></p> <p><span><em><span>We are aware of a fraudulent website that appears to mimic the Purolator careers page.
