If that sounds like an environment in which you will thrive, Carpenter Co. could be a great fit for you!_ Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a *Licensed Millwright; *rotational schedule, every two weeks you will work on our *First, Second & Third Shift *at our *Woodbridge *manufacturing plant. The Millwright is responsible for the design, engineering, layout and fabrication of machine parts and equipment in assuring the continuation of production and or enhancing the efficiency of current or new equipment. Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. As the successful candidate, you will be expected to: * Perform basic repair and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. * Pre-check, install, relocate, and make major mechanical repairs on machinery and/or equipment. * Weld and use a cutting torch, interpret and use complicated drawings and formulas. * Be willing to work rotation schedule of day, afternoon and night shifts; and overtime when necessary. *Skills and Requirements* * *Must possess Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) License* * 2-5 years of experience is preferred. * High school diploma or general education degree. * Must have expert fabrication skills and have the mechanical ability to relieve any member of the department when necessary. * Must have the ability to weld cut steel, braze, solder and minimum electrical and plumbing skills. _Carpenter Co. is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other legally protected characteristic._ Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $42.25-$45.75 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Casual dress * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * Profit sharing * RRSP match * Store discount * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * No weekends * Overtime Application question(s): * Are you able to lift up to 40 pounds comfortably?
