About the PositionUtility workers are responsible for general plant and equipment cleaning, lifting shoveling, painting, operation of mobile equipment (forklift and bobcats). Ability to learn process operator jobs to fill in for absences or vacation on a full or part-time basisDuties and ResponsibilitiesProvide labour support as neededPerform setup and cleanup tasks at job siteTroubleshoot problemsHousekeeping and other duties requiredAll other duties requiredRequired Skills and Qualifications Proven experience with high-speed productionDemonstrates a strong team-collaborator attitude while being able to work independently with minimal supervisionMust have good attention to detail and troubleshooting skillsMust be familiar with standardized industrial procedures, practices and conceptsStrong written communication and interpersonal skillsRelated Industry KnowledgeEducation or Work ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED preferredAdditional InformationHave the ability to climb stairs, lift 55 pounds, sit and stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, working with heights, bending, and kneelingWork in accordance with local/provincial legislationUnderstands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirementsAll candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
