We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our medical clinic in Toronto, Canada. We are seeking a competent individual to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our practice.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Greet and assist patients with professionalism and a welcoming demeanor.</li><li>Efficiently manage patient appointments, including scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Accuro or similar EMR software.</li><li>Handle billing and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.</li><li>Coordinate with healthcare providers, nurses, and administrative staff to facilitate a well-organized clinic.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive patient experience.</li><li>Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, directing them to the appropriate staff members.</li><li>Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant or a degree in Medical Office Administration is required.</li><li>Proficiency in using Accuro or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software is essential.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and discretion.</li><li>Flexibility to work in a fast-paced medical environment.</li><li>Customer service-oriented mindset.</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>If you meet the qualifications and are ready to take on this rewarding role as a Medical Office Assistant in our Toronto-based clinic, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
