*Overview*
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As a valued member of our accounting and administration team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounts payable team members and other administrative functions in the office. The successful candidate will possess strong oral and written communication skills while having the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position requires an enthusiastic individual who presents themselves with a professional demeanor and a positive attitude, with very high attention to detail.
*Key Responsibilities:*
· Receive and verify invoices, expense claim forms and other documentation
* Coordinate with various individuals in the organization, within the office, on job sites and other management personnel regarding initiation, approval and processing of amounts.
* Accurate data entry of amounts with the need to code expenditures correctly, review HST, allocate to projects, etc.
* Assist with the weekly cheque run and prepare vendor cheques for mailing.
* Maintain updated vendor files, coordinate directly with vendors, monitor vendor statements, etc.
* Periodically cover reception, which includes coordination of couriers, mail, various administrative functions and offering coffee and other refreshments to visitors during meetings. There is 1 full-time and 1 part-time receptionist but coverage is needed for things such as vacation time.

· Work experience in office administration, front-desk reception, or other administrative roles
* Ability to work autonomously, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
* Ability to work well in a team environment
*What We Offer:*
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $45,000 to $49,000 based on experience
Expected hours: 8:30pm to 5:00pm; Monday to Friday

Pay: $45,000.00-$49,000.00 per year
