We are currently seeking an experienced and driven *HVAC Service & Maintenance Technician* to join our amazing team as we provide superior service to homeowners. *A DAY IN THE LIFE:* Overall, an HVAC technician's day can be challenging, but also rewarding as they help customers keep their homes and businesses comfortable and safe. Your role will use your industry knowledge to service complex equipment, while providing exceptional customer service to our customers - you get to be the HERO every day! * Represent Enercare in a professional, courteous and customer service oriented manner on each and every call; you are a proud ambassador for our company * HVAC maintenance and repairs for residential customers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes * Hot Water Heater installation, maintenance, service & repair for residential and commercial customers * Communicate with customers on proper care and maintenance * Educate and promote the value of Enercare?s products, services and programs * Contribute to business growth by lead generation * Adhere to all safety rules and procedures * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations *WHAT YOU MUST TO BRING TO BE A STAR:* * 4+ years of field experience in service of Water Heaters & HVAC equipment, including heat pumps * 313D or 313A * Gas fitter 2 license * Valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card * Experience diagnosing and trouble-shooting commercial refrigeration equipment * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude * At least a valid Class G Driver?s license with a relatively clean driving record * Excellent customer service and communication skills, accountable and self-driven * Willing and able to work overtime, rotating shifts and participate in the on-call rotation * Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty and/or slippery. * Experience with generating HVAC leads and enrolling customers in new service plans is an asset * Must be able to demonstrate ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/ electricity) Please note that this position requires a Criminal Background Check and Driver?s Abstract be completed for potential candidates.
