*Job Summary*
The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of various programs and events within our organization. The ideal candidate will manage lessons, lead event planning, and foster relationships with volunteers, instructors, and families. This position requires strong administrative skills, the ability to supervise volunteers, and a passion for community engagement.
*Duties*
* Some evening and weekend requirements.
* Manage and respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
* Learn and be proficient with the CADS national online platform, snowline. Ensure all board, instructor and student profiles are completed and up-to-date. Schedule lessons with students and assign instructors appropriately.
* Recruit volunteers. Organize volunteer information sessions to recruit and inform new volunteers. Attend Volunteer Fair.
* Attend club leaders meetings for BCAS.
* Coordinate annual instructor training sessions.
* Plan and host volunteer appreciation events to recognize contributions.
* Oversee fundraising activities, ensuring necessary donations, locations, and volunteer support.
* Grant proposals, application writing as needed.
* Plan and coordinate the logistics for the Big Mountain Camp.
* Communicate program needs effectively with RMR.
* Manage room arrangements for meetings and events.
* Coordinate with Board and treasurer to monitor costs and budget for various program-related expenses.
* Prepare and maintain necessary sanctioning documents for the season.
* Meet with families and/or caregivers interested in the program to provide information and support.
* Train volunteers on lesson rollout procedures
* Coordinate with RMR to discuss contract agreements and program collaboration.
* Build relationships with guest services and the rental shop for seamless operations.
* Ensure AGMs and applicable documentation are submitted to Societies Online annually.
* Attend RADS board meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Bringing forth the needs of the Club and season/event updates.
*Qualifications*
* Ski or Snowboard skills an asset
* Proven experience in administrative roles with strong organizational skills.
* Demonstrated ability in supervising teams and managing programs effectively.
* Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and independent.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse groups.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
