*JOB POSTING ? BANQUET COOK* *JOB DESCRIPTION* The Courtyard Prince George is currently recruiting for a Banquet Cook. As Banquet Cook, you are responsible for preparing great food for our exceptional guests, daily shift checklists, and positive guest interactions. All the duties are focused on achieving guest satisfaction, and compliance with policies, and procedures. *Summary of essential job functions* * Delivering completed shift checklists at the end of each shift. * Delivering quality food in timely manner. * Appear tidy and well kept * Maintain clean and sanitary Kitchen/Bistro area * Knowledge of HACCP * Other duties as required *Minimum requirements* * Preference given to applicants with at least 1 years? experience in kitchen and equivalent education. * Professional and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude * Ability to multi-task in a high-profile, high-traffic environment * Clear, concise communication skills * Able to work flexible hours. *Other Requirements and Characteristics:* * Ability to follow direction and work well without supervision. * Engaging with guests to exceed their expectations. * Knowledge of Hotel operations. * Ability to take ownership and solve problems * Ability to perform actions with an attention to detail * Ability to stand, move and walk for an entire shift. * Ability to handle stress in a calm and professional manner. * Must have the ability to communicate with guests in a clear /positive speaking voice. * Must have the ability to work with service staff and respond immediately and accurately to guest needs. * The work requires moderate physical exertion with long periods of standing and walking; you will be required to bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, reach, or similar activities; lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds * If you have high performance standards, a high level of enthusiasm and thrive in a fast-paced team environment then you just might be the candidate that we?re looking for.
