If you?re passionate about exceptional customer service, leadership, and the wine, beer, and spirits industry, we invite you to be part of our journey to create an inviting and successful retail experience. *About the Role:* As an Assistant Manager at Wine & Beyond, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Store Manager with store operations, team management, customer service, and achieving financial goals. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who can help maintain a welcoming work culture, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute to the store?s success. Key Responsibilities:*People Management:* * Foster a positive work environment to make the store an inviting place to work. * Lead by example as a role model, coach, and mentor for team members. * Delegate tasks effectively and set priorities with the Store Manager. * Conduct regular coaching sessions and support performance improvement. * Partner with the Store Manager in store recruitment and succession planning. * Ensure completion of required training within designated timeframes. * Collaborate on efficient weekly store scheduling for sales and support functions. *Customer Service:* * Provide outstanding customer service and resolve complaints in a professional manner. * Manage customer feedback and surveys to improve service. * Assist with new product launches and assess local market trends. * Evaluate store promotions and provide insights to the Store Manager. *Financial Accountability:* * Work with the Store Manager to meet financial targets by planning labor, inventory, and finances. * Review and monitor the Loss Prevention program to safeguard inventory. * Maintain accuracy in financial documentation, including invoices and costs. * Adjust scheduling as needed to achieve labor cost goals. *Daily Operations:* * Ensure the store adheres to merchandising and pricing guidelines. * Keep the store clean and presentable, addressing any maintenance needs. * Oversee inventory levels, ordering, and receiving processes. * Actively participate in OHS and Loss Prevention meetings and training. * Build relationships with store stakeholders and increase industry knowledge.
