Job details
As a Graphic Designer for reflex 2000 Inc and The Apparel Guys, you are responsible for the following tasks;
Apparel Design, Order processing with dynamic file types, PAD designed templates, vector creation, Working with client artwork in multiple formats, Tech-pack creation, color separation for screen printing, Handling embroidery files, outputting multiple digital media file types, and processing art files into convertible formats for accounts team to process. You will be responsible for taking direction from our art department team and account managers working with multiple private label manufacturing projects. We specialize in helping fashion designers, brands, and e-commerce business excel in producing and fulfilling garment and decorated products.
We specialize in domesticated manufacturing with every production method in-house. We are looking for astute, detail oriented, and creative individuals looking for a stimulating in-house environment to help define and grow the manufacturing landscape here in Canada!

*Some of what you?ll do*

* Tech Pack preparation, Research trends, colors and fabrications
* Dye sublimation, Digital Transfer manufacturing, and PAD Marker file exports ( Preparing files and handling wide format print media)
* Handling Cores, and media setup in production environment
* Create & Manage Tech Packs and Work sheets in congruence with newly generated orders
* Helping streamline system management with e-commerce
* Market research & Shopping competitors
* Work with Production and Fit Technicians to manage and organize prototype samples and/or production
* Communicate with all departments ( Embroidery, Screen Printing, DTG, Sublimation, Cut & Sew, Accounts)
* Prepare Sales Meeting decks to present New Collections or existing sku's
* Aiding in the development for clients e-commerce websites of our in-house back end
*Some of what you?ll need*
* Diploma in Fashion Designing and Management is an asset, not a requirement. Experience counts!
* Skills using Corel, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop
* Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic software
* Detail oriented and organized
* Ability to work with strict deadlines and multitask
* Great team communication skills - We are a team handling multiple facets of domestic manufacturing!
* Working knowledge of fabric and garment construction
* Strong organizational skills
* Enthusiastic and passionate about fashion and textile production
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Hornby, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
* Graphic design: 1 year (preferred)
