*Overview*
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. This role requires a strong background in accounting, proficiency in various accounting software, and excellent analytical skills.
*Duties*
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Manage the month-end close process, including account reconciliation and analysis.
* Develop and implement budgeting processes to support financial planning and forecasting.
* Supervise accounts payable and payroll functions to ensure timely processing of transactions.
* Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
* Utilize accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero for efficient financial management.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
* Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a corporate environment.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account reconciliation.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is essential.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
