*Role Description*
This is a full-time on-site role as a Property Administrator. The Property Administrator will be responsible for lease documentation, leases, communication with commercial and residential, lease administration, and property management - coordinating with sub trades and contractors. This individual will work closely with the property management team and tenants to ensure proper lease administration and communication. Regie du Logement coordination, renewal, rental increases.
*Qualifications*
* Experience in lease documentation and administration
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience in property management
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team setting
* Bilingual in French and English is preferred
* Bachelor's degree is preferred
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support).
*Responsibilities*
* Answer and direct phone calls
* Distribute mail
* Act as first point of contact for visitors
* Showing space, coordinating visit with potential tenants.
* Leasing coordination and outreach
* Coordination and management of sub-trades during construction and property management.
* Management of construction financing documentation
* Coordination with the city on a multitude of items
* Answer and direct phone calls.
* Maintain an office setup that optimizes workflow.
* Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails typing letters, setting up appointments, photocopying, organizing files, handling correspondences
* Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
* Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
* Coordinate move in and moves outs with tenants, lease signings with tenants, tenant relations/communications, managing digital media and relationships with vendors and provisioning office supplies.
* Develop and maintain a filing system.
* Assist property managers
* Provide support to the accounting department. Property accounting - Residential, Commercial.
* Work with accounting to ensure other income (bills, parking, etc.) is collected on time.
* Coordination of accounts payable and receivable
* Help with preparation of year end working papers
* Coordinate with accounting and processing payments to vendors.
* Preparation of various expense reports
* Cash management
* Coordination with the city on a multitude of items
* Ability to work on and complete multiple projects
* Experience with real estate accounting an asset (Yardi)
* Keep the Salesforce CRM up to date and follow up with potential tenants.
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience in real estate and familiarity with local real estate laws and regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
