*Position: MOFFETT DELIVERY DRIVER DZ (Full Time)* *Primary Function:* To drive a heavy commercial truck with Moffett (forklift) and deliver building materials in a safe and efficient manner, follow instructions by the supervisor to meet customer demands, and also perform other duties as required. Heavy lifting required to load and unload materials from truck. *Work experience and other requirements:* * Must be physically fit and able to do the work involved * One to two years similar experience highly preferred *Skills and knowledge:* * Effective written and oral communication skills (ability to speak, read and write English) * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately * Basic skills with hand tools * Works well under pressure * Demonstrated ability to drive heavy commercial vehicles *Physical Activity Description:* Activities include, but, are not limited to; * Driving a heavy commercial truck * Operating a Moffett forklift in a safe manner Climbing up and down stairs(houses and trucks) to secure and unsecure the load as well as to perform checks * Pull, Lift or flip drywall to stack materials (piles of drywall or other products) * Lifting and carrying of drywall and insulation with weight up to 80 pounds *Education/ Training Requirements:* * Valid DZ Class Ontario drivers licence (or other qualifying licence for truck class) We will accommodate the needs of applicants under the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) throughout all stages of the recruitment and selection process.
