*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Arrival time 7:30am and closing 6:30pm (1hr lunches unpaid) Please do not ask if we will consider later start times or earlier finishing times. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients on proper hygiene practices, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Document patient care and treatment plans accurately using ABELDent software. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety protocols. * Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. * Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology. *Qualifications* * Valid CDHO license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. * Proficiency in using ABELDent software is preferred. * Previous experience in dental assisting or within a dental office setting is an advantage and preferred * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients. * Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient communication. However MUST have great verbal and written English skills * Experience or knowledge in pediatrics and orthodontics is a plus.
