*Responsibilities:*
* Adhere to rules, procedures, safe work practices, health and safety standards and use of personal protective equipment.
* Report and investigate all near misses/incidents/accidents resulting in personal injury or property damage.
* Comply with Food Safety & Quality policies and procedures.
* Ensure forms and checklists are properly, completely, accurately, and legibly filled.
* Proper handling of lifting and transport equipment, adhering to safety conditions.
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery utilizing Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and instrumentation skill sets.
* Recalibrating controls, and maintenance of additional systems and components as appropriate.
* Maintain the work area and physical environment in a neat, clean, and orderly condition (5S).
* Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric components such as motors, VFDs, etc.
* Performance tasks such as running wire, making connections and labelling.
* Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic troubleshooting to determine cause for equipment malfunction and establish the necessary repairs.
* Perform a general post repair audit prior to completion of work, documenting that all required safety features are functional or documenting deficiencies.
* Prioritize and complete preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance on various instrumentation, controls (DCS), electrical and electronic equipment and PLC systems
* Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Operate machine tools such as drills and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
* Immediately report non-conformances to QC and Maintenance Manager
* Able to communicate between different departments.
* Grant training to the maintenance technicians in case of new machinery or new SOP?s
* Support Maintenance Technicians in daily mechanical duties.
* Must be available or rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Flexibility is required due to business needs; advanced notice will be given.

Pay: $41.54 per hour
