Job details
Located in the Port of Belledune and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and various handling equipment. In addition, you may be called upon to support operations by providing the necessary lifting equipment for various cargoes.
*MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :*
* Maintain and repair machinery and equipment such as wheel loaders, mechanical shovels, forklifts of various capacities, etc.;
* Requisition spare parts;
* Diagnose machinery operating problems and suggest effective solutions;
* Process work orders in the computer system and ensure follow-up;
* All other related tasks.
*WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:*
* Professional training in construction equipment mechanics, heavy vehicles or any other relevant combination of training;
* 2 to 5 years' relevant experience;
* Knowledge of welding (asset);
* Basic computer skills (e-mail and use of maintenance software);
* Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
