*Maintenance Manager*
We are currently seeking a full-time experienced *Maintenance Manager *to oversee the daily maintenance operations of our multi-family apartment buildings.
*What You?ll Be Doing*
Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance duties for our multi-family residential rental properties, including acting as the first point of contact for tenant maintenance requests, conducting preventative maintenance including performing routine building inspections, and general grounds maintenance. Your focus will be to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance requests while ensuring excellent service, positive interactions and a safe environment for tenants at all of our rental properties.
*Key areas of responsibility include:*
· Coordinate and oversee regular building maintenance and repairs
· Maintain a safe environment for tenants and visitors
· Conduct routine inspections of all building systems to ensure they are in working order
· Respond to maintenance requests by tenants and resolve problems/issues
· Repair and restore units to their original condition after tenants have moved out
· Maintain inventory of equipment and tools and keep in good working order
· Maintain and monitor an outdoor pool during the summer months
*How You?ll Succeed*
You have maintenance experience working in multi-family rental properties and have the ability to troubleshoot minor repairs in a variety of fields. Your excellent communication skills will play a key role in this position as you provide extraordinary customer service to our tenants and coordinate repair work with vendors. You are a critical thinker, can solve complex problems and possess organizational skills. You have the ability to multi-task and shift focus multiple times in a day.
*What You?ll Need*
· Minimum 3 years related experience
· Familiarity with multi-family building operating systems
· Ability to manage a maintenance budget
· Knowledge of OH&S Regulations
· Dependable, trustworthy and professional demeanor
· Excellent maintenance troubleshooting capabilities
· Good leadership and communication skills
· Proactive and ability to work independently
· Effectively organize and prioritize work
· Able to work on call evenings/weekends (as necessary)
· Proficient with computer programs
· Valid driver?s license
· Physically fit
\*This position has an option for an onsite living arrangement.
Job Type: Full-time
