We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and experienced *Director of Finance and Administration* to join our team.

Based out of our Vancouver office, and reporting directly to the CEO, this position is perfect for a talented finance and senior administration professional. A Little About this Position:
The Director of Finance and Administration reports directly to the CEO and as a key member of the senior leadership team, plays an integral role in driving the organization?s strategic goals and objectives. This is a tremendous opportunity for a mission-driven leader to maximize and strengthen the finance and business operations of a well-respected, high-impact organization.
The successful candidate will implement the infrastructure and systems needed to support the organization?s strategic goals. They will actively lead a team of staff and contractors in the following areas: finance and accounting, administration and clinic support operations, human resources, and IT. The candidate will continually evaluate best industry practices in comparison to internal systems and needed resources, with an eye toward both future needs, budget realities and risk mitigation.

InspireHealth (https://inspirehealth.ca/) is a not-for-profit supportive cancer care organization partially funded by the BC Ministry of Health. For over 25 years, we have provided supportive cancer care to enhance the quality of life, health and well-being of people living with cancer and their families. We offer life-changing, one-on-one and group support including exercise therapy, stress management, nutrition, and counselling services.
*A Little About You:*
· At least 7-10 years of overall professional and finance experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in a non-profit organization and operations management in a clinical setting is a strong asset.
· Demonstrated experience in financial management and accounting including experience with audit, legal compliance, and budget development. You are proficient in using accounting software and tools and have a strong knowledge of GAAP, financial regulations, compliance reporting and non-profit accounting practices.
· Your experience includes hands-on management of key operational areas including human resources, administration and IT. Technologically savvy, with experience overseeing information technology staff or vendors, and experience assessing, selecting, and implementing software solutions.
· Experience in process and policy development and improvement.
· Experience in tracking, translating and communicating financials for fundraising purposes, including effective case for support development and reporting.
· Experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, the Board, or other outside partners/influencers/clients.
· Success seeing beyond the numbers, identifying financial and operational trends, and opportunities for growth and improvement.
