Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: In/on water. Outdoors. Underwater. Wet/damp. Underwater services. Instructing. Work setting: Remote location. Rural area. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Diving. Tasks: Instruct apprentices. Perform underwater inspection, search, salvage, repair and photography. Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.). Knowledge of licensing regulations. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Requisition materials and supplies. Scuba dive to inspect sea farm operations. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Commercial diver's license. First Aid Certificate. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Underwater recording equipment. Area of specialization: Hydraulic. Troubleshooting/diagnostic. Underwater photography. Underwater survey. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Accurate. Excellent oral communication. Organized. Team player. Resourcefulness.
