We are seeking a *Hospitality Manager *to lead our team! Are you a gifted manager with a proven track record in service excellence and building great teams? Do you love the idea of delivering exceptional cider experiences at a farm-based cidery that crafts award-winning cider? Then we?d love to hear from you! *Quick Stats* * *Compensation*: $60-70K salary + bonus based on profit * *Vacation*: 4 weeks paid + option of 1 week unpaid * *Work week schedule:* Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm * *Level of responsibility*: on the leadership team reporting to the CEO. Managing a team of 20 and a budget of $1M * *Front line customer service time*: 20% to 50%, depending on season *The Job* Our Hospitality Manager (i.e. Restaurant Manager) creates the necessary conditions for an exceptional guest experience, all while meeting Sea Cider?s financial targets. This person is a member of our Senior Management Team, reports to the CEO, and leads our Hospitality Department, managing all activities, resources, projects and personnel in the Department, and overseeing approximately 20 staff on the following teams: Daily Hospitality, Culinary, Event Service and Venue Coordination. _Performance is measured against net profit, guest reviews and staff retention._ The proposed work week is *10am to 6pm, Tuesday through Saturday*, and the budgeted salary is from *$60,000 to $70,000*, depending on prior experience and success. An annual bonus based on net income is additional. Comprehensive training is provided on our policies, food & beverage protocols, business management, and of course, cider! You have a gift for managing people, schedules, projects and budgets, all while providing guests with an exceptional experience. In addition you have: * *Education:* Serving It Right required; Food Safe required. Post secondary degree or diploma in management or related field required. * *Vocational experience*: at least three years as a Manager (e.g. Restaurant Manager), responsible for department planning, budgets, schedules, people and projects. * *Industry experience:* At least five years of experience in hospitality/events or the food & beverage sector. * *People management:* At least three years of experience in recruiting, training, scheduling, supervising and reviewing the performance of direct reports. A gift for creating a positive team culture while maintaining service standards and team focus. * *Communication skills*: excellent written and verbal communication skills, a gift for diplomacy, and a proven track record in problem solving, resolving customer complaints successfully, and avoiding complaints in the first place! * *Project management:* experience planning projects, a timeline and project deliverables. * *Financial management:* experience managing labour and supply budgets, as well as implementing strategies to grow revenue and improve profitability. * *Technology &- LocationSaanichton, BC
