Northern Gateway Public Schools invites applications for a Casual Education Assistants throughout the Division in all areas - Onoway, Alberta Beach, Sangudo, Mayerthorpe, Whitecourt, Fox Creek and Valleyview. <p>Successful candidate responsibilities: <p><p> Provide support to students in an inclusive setting<p> Follow the direction of the classroom Teacher<p><p>Preference will be given to candidates who: <p><p> Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff<p> Work collaboratively and co-operatively with teachers and other educational assistants in the classroom/school<p> Understand and carry out oral and written direction<p> Work independently with minimal instruction<p> Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills<p> Respect confidentiality<p> Practice professionalism with all students, staff, administration, parents and public<p> Are aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures<p> Have experience working with young children<p> Have an understanding of the teaching/learning process<p> Have strong interpersonal skills and patience<p> Enjoys working in a team environment<p><p>Application Process: <p><p> Email a cover letter and resume, including references to:<p><p>Human Resources Services<p>Northern Gateway Public Schools<p>E-mail: hr@ngps.ca<p>If shortlisted, applicants must bring to the interview a Release of Results of Vulnerable Sector Check that is current within three (3) months. <p>We appreciate all applications, but we will only contact those who are shortlisted.- LocationWhitecourt, AB
