Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Esthetician's salon. Tasks: Make custom designs for clients. Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art. Clean, trim and polish nails. Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions. Manicures. Pedicures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Manicurist's provincial licence. Esthetician certification. Area of work experience: Manicurist. Pedicurist. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Client focus.
