*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This position requires a strong commitment to patient education, preventive care, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the dental office. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics. * Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly documented. * Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction. * Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to provide the best care possible. *Experience* * A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required. * Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics and pediatrics considered a plus. * Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental software is highly desirable. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse patient populations is essential. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry will be beneficial. * Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service, are crucial for success in this role.
