East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of a full-time Educational Assistant at St. Jerome's School in Vermilion, Alberta. <p>The temporary educational assistant will be supporting students from Kindergarten to Grade 9. The following credentials/skills would be considered an asset for this position: <p><p> Experience working with young children. <p> Experience and willingness to work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. <p> Experience with adaptive communication methods. <p> Experience offering personal care support. <p> Capable of working in a team and collaborating with a teacher in a classroom environment. <p><p><p>The position starts as soon as a suitable candidate is found, and the contract shall terminate on June 26, 2025. This position is subject to the ECCS-CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees) Support Staff Collective Agreement.
