<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>Ramos Parkade Maintenance is a family owned and operated parkade maintenance and drainage company that specializes in providing vacuum truck services, hydro jetting, and pressure washing in the Lower Mainland. We are a small but fast-growing organization serving property managers, strata councils, parkades, plumbers, residential and commercial buildings.</p><p>We are looking for a full time, motivated, hands-on worker, who is capable of learning-by-doing, to fulfill this critical role in our operations. This is an entry level position with routine and frequent manual and labour tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to: moving hoses, loading and unloading materials, vacuum truck operating, tank cleaning, and disposing. Ask us about our employee incentive program!</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities Include</strong> (but is not limited to):</p><ul><li>Successfully completing scheduled jobs on the company's busy schedule.</li><li>Loading hoses, tools and other equipment required for assigned job onto truck.</li><li>Communicating with our clients while onsite.</li><li>Serving as a face for the organization.</li><li>Safely operate the truck while on the road and on job sites.</li><li>Providing updates and reporting back to the office/team while on and off the job site.</li><li>Operating the vacuum truck, power washer, camera line, hydro jetter and various machinery.</li><li>Handling small machinery i.e: drain augers, drain cleaning cables, power drain cleaners, pressure washers.</li><li>Using tools ranging from common hand tools to power tools.</li><li>Performing routine preventative maintenance to company assets to ensure machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently.</li><li>Following safety protocols.</li><li>Most jobs are scheduled during regular business hours but on occasion could fall outside of these times.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Day to Day</strong></p><ul><li>Arrive at the work yard for 8 am.</li><li>Complete daily maintenance checklist on vehicles.</li><li>Prepare vehicles for the scheduled job.</li><li>Drive to job site.</li><li>Perform services as per the job worksheet.</li><li>Drive back from the job site to the work yard.</li><li>Properly dispose of load when applicable.</li><li>Perform maintenance on vehicles and filling out job forms.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>Clean driving record.</li><li>Ability to comfortably and confidently drive a standard shift vehicle.</li><li>Ability to drive a truck or van with a small trailer (preferred)</li><li>At least 18 years of age.</li><li>Experience working with various equipment (preferably pressure washer, vacuum truck, auger, hand tools)</li><li>1 year of work experience</li><li>High school diploma</li><li>Must have the ability to legally work in Canada</li><li>Local applicants only</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Skills Required</strong></p><ul><li>A valid driver's license and a driver's abstract.</li><li>Good analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Eager and willingness to learn</li><li>Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.</li><li>Effective written and oral communication skills.</li><li>Able to work efficiently within a group and on their own with little supervision.</li><li>Be accurate and provide flawless execution of all work completed.</li><li>Able to prioritize tasks and follow specific instructions.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>NOTE</strong>: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
