Curtis Memorial Hospital Accounting Clerk II Labrador Grenfell Zone - LGH REVENUE & COLLECTION Permanent Full-time 55437POS Hours 75 hours bi-weekly, Monday to Friday (8 hours; Days) Salary CG-26 (CAD24.54 - CAD27.16 per hour) Competition Number VAC0002631 Posted Date 2024-11-01 Closing Date 2024-11-08 Demands, duties, qualifications This position is primarily responsible for Accounts Receivable functions and will be located in theFinance office in St. Anthony, NL.Qualifications:Graduation from high school, supplemented by the successful completion of a two yearBusiness Diploma Program, specializing in AccountingConsiderable knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practicesRecent and relevant experience in an accounting environmentExperience in Meditech, Excel and/or Word would be an assetAbility to work with minimum supervision and meet monthly deadlinesStrong communication skillsThe successful applicant will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conductDuties and Responsibilities:(Include but not limited to):Receipts and codes incoming payments, handles cash, prepares and submits bank depositsInvoices clients, maintains accounts receivable accounts, prepares monthly reports, liaises withexternal agenciesResponds to Accounts Receivable inquiries from both internal and external sourcesPerforms other related duties as assigned- LocationSt. Anthony, NL
