<p> <p>INDIGENOUS SUPPORT WORKER <p>ISW work is a great way to make a meaningful difference in lives of students throughout the district.<p> <p>Ideal candidates should have:<p><p> <p> Up to one academic year of coursework related to Child Youth Care or equivalent training and experience<p> <p> <p> Job related experience working with children and youth for greater than 12 months<p> <p> <p> An understanding of indigenous culture<p> <p> <p> A good understanding of behaviour management techniques<p> <p> <p> Willingness to obtain a Food Safe Certificate, once hired<p> <p> <p> Physically capable of performing the job duties<p> <p><p>This is a unionized position with a pay rate as of July 1, 2024 of $34.22 per hour.<p> <p>Job details are available on our website under CUPE job description #80:Indigenous Support Workers<p> <p> <p><p> <p>Applications<p>should include a cover letter, resume, transcripts and three work-related references<p>with contact information and permission to contact.
