Job details
The position is one (1) hour per day - 30 minutes in the morning (8:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M.) and 30 minutes after school (3:20 P.M. to 3:50 P.M.), four (4) days per week, ten (10) months per year, and while students are in school. Duties will be assigned by the Director of Operations or designate. <p> <p>Job Requirements: <p><p> Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.<p> Thorough knowledge of safety procedures related to work performed. Warns motorists by using signals and equipment (stop sign, pylons and figurines) that students and other pedestrians are about to use the crosswalk.<p> Promotes the safe behavior of students when approaching or using the crosswalk.<p><p><p> Courteous and co-operative manner with students, other employees and general public.<p><p> <p>Interested persons should contact David Reid, Director of Operations, for further information.<p> <p>The salary for this position is in accordance with the Collective Agreement presently in effect between the Board and C.U.P.E. Local 2098.
