*Overview* We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and hospice care environments. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and well-being of those you assist. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors and those requiring additional support. *Duties* As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include: * Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. * Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding when necessary. * Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients. * Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff/management. * Assisting with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when required. * Supporting patients with dementia care by implementing appropriate communication techniques and activities. * Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all health and safety protocols. * Documenting patient care activities accurately in accordance with company policies. *Experience* Ideal candidates for the Health Care Aide position will possess: * Previous experience in caregiving or patient care settings, particularly in assisted living, home care or nursing home environments. * Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus. * Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. * Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks associated with patient mobility and transfers. * A compassionate demeanor combined with patience and understanding towards individuals requiring care. * Morning shift availability. * Preferably drives anywhere in the city.
