Position: Nursery-Kindergarten Teacher<p>Location: Cormorant Lake School<p>Start Date: As soon as possible <p>FTE: 1.00 FTE <p>Term of Employment: Term to June 27, 2025<p>Application Deadline: Open Until Filled<p> <p>The Division provides a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, transportation and moving expense reimbursement, subsidized housing or housing allowance and isolation allowance in qualifying communities, annual travel reimbursement, reimbursement for approved courses and more! <p> <p>Cormorant Lake School is a Nursery to Grade 10 school with 106 students located in Cormorant, Manitoba, 80 kms northeast of The Pas. This lakeside town offers community services such as a nursing station, park, community hall and year-round road access. Services such as grocery shopping and banking are available in The Pas.<p> <p>Qualifications: <p><p> Bachelor of Education Degree<p> Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)<p> A sound knowledge of Manitoba curricula<p> Previous teaching experience<p> A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology<p> Knowledge of literacy, numeracy, and play-based programming<p> Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life<p> Strong classroom management skills<p> Experience working with students with unique needs<p> A commitment to differentiated instruction<p> A willingness to inquire into best practices and reflect on practices<p> A team player committed to the belief that all students can learn <p> Self-motivated<p><p><p> <p> Applicants are required to submit the following:<p><p> cover letter<p> current resume<p> list of three professional references including email addresses and contact numbers, all of whom must have knowledge of the applicant?s performance in the applicant?s current or recent assignment<p><p><p><p> <p><p>Thank you for your interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. <p>By applying, you consent to the Division contacting your references.
