Two references must be submitted if selected for an interview. *</strong></p><p><strong>WORK HOURS</strong></p><p>Monday to Friday from 7:00AM - 3:30PM</p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The purpose of this position is to use various hand tools and machines to fabricate stations. The Station <span class="long-word">Fabricator/Warehouse</span> Associate should have a strong commitment to the physically demanding role and an interest in the natural gas industry.</p><p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Fabricate natural gas systems (stations) in a warehouse setting.</li><li>Utilize pipefitting skills to join and secure pipes and valves.</li><li>Ensure proper alignment, fit and integrity of the meter sets.</li><li>Perform quality control checks during fabrication, assembly, and installation processes to ensure compliance with technical requirements.</li><li>Work to specified target schedules per job.</li><li>Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while working with heavy tools and equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot, adjust, and operate required equipment, processes, and materials.</li><li>Adopt a preventative approach to ensure a safe and clean warehouse operation.</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li><strong>Holds a valid Gas Technician 3 (G3) license or enrolled in G3 program.</strong></li><li>At least 1 year of fabrication experience in a warehouse environment.</li><li>Required mechanical knowledge of piping, support, tools, and equipment.</li><li>Forklift experience an asset.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.</li><li>Strong knowledge of pipefitting, and gas distribution systems is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>WORKING AT A LAKESIDE LOCATION</strong></p><ul><li>Flexibility is key; applicants should be open to working voluntary and mandatory extra hours and willing to work at a fast pace.</li><li>Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 8-10 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.</li><li>Noise levels vary; hearing protection is available.</li><li>Ability to be on the move for your whole shift.
