*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team on Mondays from 11:30am- 7:30pm and alternating Saturdays from 9:00am- 4:00pm The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by performing dental scaling and root planing, perio charting, polishing, taking BW xrays and Panograph, providing patients with oral hygiene instruction, taking night guard impressions and whitening procedures. This position requires a strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth. * Conduct patient screenings, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs. * Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. * Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. * Maintain accurate patient records using Logitech software. * Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including assisting with procedures when necessary. * Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. * Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental office including thorough knowledge of IPAC. *Experience* * Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with minimum 4 yrs. * Familiarity with Logitech software is a plus. * Experience in dental assisting is beneficial but not required. * Strong customer service skills and the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients are essential. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is an asset.
