The Electricity Forum (est. 1986) is seeking energetic advertising sales representatives who will be responsible for generating new sales and managing an existing advertising client base for Electricity Forum (www.electricityforum.com). We have a full suite of online advertising products: Digital Advertising, Website Banner Advertising, Buyer's Guide Listings, E-Broadcast Advertising, Online Video/Product Showcase Advertising, Electrical Job Postings, and E-Commerce Store Front solutions.
We are hiring a team of experienced online advertising sales experts with a proven track record in new advertising sales and business development.
*Responsibilities*
· Selling our advertising and marketing services, digital advertising and our other products
· Knowledge of working within a CRM system
· Finding new accounts through cold calls, social media involvement and attending events
· Presenting our services with conviction and authority (by phone and/or in person)
· Landing new business, developing client relationships and prioritizing annual renewals.
· Consulting with the sales department and management to constantly improve our practices
*Desired Skills and Experience*
· Ideally, you have 2+ years of digital media sales experience
· Solid selling and account management skills
· Interest in business development and client relations
· Understanding how to cold-call and being comfortable with it
· Ability to seek out potential clients at industry events
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Confident presentation skills (in person, by phone or in writing)
· Solid organization and time management skills with an ability to prioritize projects
· Experienced in Microsoft office and CRM software

*Requirements*
* Ability to develop leads and make at least 50 phone calls a day
* Experience with high volume cold calling. Leads are provided
* Highly skilled communicator with a strong ability to interact effectively with all potential clients
* Ability to be persuasive and influential in verbal and written communications
* Ability to meet sales goals and succeed in a competitive, fast-paced sales environment
