Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Various locations. Tasks: Monitoring animal health. Work with honey bees. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Perform general farm duties. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Apiary and honey harvesting experience: Detect bee diseases . Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax. Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes. . Treat bees with antibiotics . Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks.
