*Job Overview* We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef who have experience in Western Cuisine to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that delight our guests. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in menu creation, food preparation, and maintaining the overall kitchen environment. This position requires leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Pay: From $22.50 per hour (negotiable) Expected hours: 40 per week *Duties* * Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. * Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while catering to customer preferences. * Manage food preparation processes, including cooking techniques, portion control, and food handling practices. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. * Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster teamwork and enhance culinary skills. * Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. * Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. * Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality standards. *Experience* * Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. * Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. * Experience in team management and leadership within a kitchen environment is preferred. * Familiarity with bartending and beverage service is a plus. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * A passion for cooking, creativity in menu design, and dedication to providing exceptional dining experiences.
