Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC). Area of specialization: Auto repair. Truck repair. Machinery or equipment repair. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
