Job details
Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Farm. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Cattle feed lot, pig barns. Tasks: Direct and control construction projects. Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility. Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service. Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Plan and manage the facility's operations budget. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings. Welding experience. Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators and other electro-mechanical equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Equipment and machinery experience: Fans and blowers. Farm truck. Feeding and watering system. Security and safety: Bondable. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Tight deadlines.
