*Robotic Repair Technician*
Insituform Technologies Limited is looking for a Robotic Repair Technician to repair and maintain specialized robotic cutters used in the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) installation process. Robotic cutters are used to open lateral connections covered by the installation of a CIPP liner and are also used to trim or cut back intruding lateral sewer connections that would interfere with installation.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Maintain repair and troubleshoot problems in regards to robotic cutters.
* Perform equipment inspections, preventive maintenance on robots and CCTV truck (the robotic controls, power supply & air hose reel are mounted within the CCTV truck).
* Provide technical support and in-depth troubleshooting advice to Installation Crews using robotic cutter.
* Train field staff on usage of the robotic cutter and provide on-going expertise.
* Manage inventory of repair parts and tools in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
* Identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement related to robotic cutter and the CIPP installation process.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* One to five years Electrical and/or mechanical repair experience
* Experience with robotics or small scale mechanical devices repairs an asset
* Post-secondary education with focus on electrical or mechanical repair is an asset
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
* Knowledge of or a willingness to learn the standard methods, materials, tools, equipment and procedures utilized in the CIPP installation process
* Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills combined with good attention to detail
* Strong computer and analytical skills
* To be able to work efficiently and effectively against tight deadlines and timelines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
