*Overview*
The Program Coordinator will play a role in coordinating programs, events and other initiatives aimed at supporting entrepreneurs across Northern BC. This role involves overseeing program logistics, conducting outreach to participants, and ensuring the timely functioning of Hubspace?s programs.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Coordinator?s responsibilities will include those outlined below, along with any additional tasks assigned.
*Key Responsibilities*
_Program Administration:_
* Perform administrative tasks including, but not limited to, communicating with and registering participants, updating and maintaining documents, printing, editing and distributing materials.
* Help the Hubspace team track program objectives.
* Communicate with participants, providing information, support, and assistance Hubspace?s programs.
* Handle phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and reminders.
* Communicate effectively with participants from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing employment loss & other challenging circumstances.
* Assist in promoting Hubspace programs and perform other duties as required.
_Workshops and Events:_
* Collaborate with the Hubspace team to plan and coordinate events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
* Work with different suppliers to organize resources for events such as booking venues and buying meals for workshop participants.
* Travel as necessary for workshops and events to ensure smooth facilitation and participant engagement.
* Support event promotion, attendee management, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement
*Skills* *& Requirements*
* _Administration & Organization:_ The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
* _Written & Verbal Communication:_ Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with participants by phone, in person, and via email to ensure they?re informed and supported throughout the program.
* _Business Software Experience:_ A number of different pieces of business software are used in Hubspace?s operations. A successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn other programs like Customer Relationship Management and Task planning software.
* _A Personable Attitude, Patience & Professionalism: _Hubspace provides services to a wide range of individuals and strives to bring a positive attitude in all interactions with the public and clients.
* _Degree, Diploma or relevant work experience:_ Communications, marketing, business administration, or related work experience is required.
* _Work In-Person & Travel: _This position is not remote and attendance at the office is a requirement. Workshops & Events are often held outside of business hours and the successful candidate needs to be present. From time to time travel out of town may be required, notice will be provided well in advance.
*Hours, Salary & Benefits*
* Salary: $40,000 ? $55,000 per year, based on experience
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week
* Benefits: Extended health benefits available after the probationary period
