Accounting Clerk Our client, a leader in providing personalized accounting and bookkeeping services to individuals, small businesses, and corporations, is looking for someone to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across different industries, with plenty of room for growth and skill development through ongoing learning sessions tailored to the accounting field. What is in it for you: ? Salary: $60.000 to $70.000 per year (based on experience). ? Bonus pay. ? Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours/week). ? Flexible schedule (options: 8-4, 9-5, or 10-6). ? Hybrid work arrangement. ? 2 weeks of vacation and paid time off. ? RRSP matching. ? Dental, vision, extended health, life, and disability insurance. ? Casual dress code and on-site parking. Responsibilities: ? Prepare and file and personal income tax returns. ? Manage bank deposits and general ledger postings. ? Ensure that accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) are up to date and accurate. ? Complete write-ups for bank accounts, credit cards, loans, etc. ? Organize and sort financial documents. ? Perform bank reconciliations. ? Prepare GST/HST and QST reports. ? Handle DAS reports. ? Oversee payroll runs. ? Resolve government-related issues. ? Maintain regular follow-up with clients. What you will need to succeed: ? Accounting or bookkeeping degree (preferred but not required). ? 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles. ? 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. ? Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures. ? Knowledge of accounting and tax software is an asset. ? Fluent in English, conversational in French to support clients in both languages. Why Recruit Action?
