We are looking for a vigilant and professional Tactical Security Operative dedicated to serving as the first line of defense while providing exceptional customer service. *Position Overview* The Tactical Security Operative is responsible for safeguarding our client's premises, ensuring the safety of our clients, their employees, and visitors while monitoring for any suspicious activities. Representing Wolfpack Protective Services Inc. professionally, you will engage with staff and visitors, conduct thorough surveillance through physical patrols and camera monitoring, if available, and respond effectively to security concerns. *Key Responsibilities* * Patrol the building?s perimeter and premises to maintain security and prevent incidents * Operate and monitor video surveillance systems and review footage as needed * Respond promptly to alarms and security issues, de-escalating as appropriate * Maintain detailed daily logs of all activities, incidents, and concerns * Answer phones and address inquiries * Notify law enforcement or emergency responders in the event of a security breach or emergency incident * Enforce building regulations, report violations, and support rule compliance * Inspect and maintain security equipment, requesting repairs when necessary * Perform additional related duties as assigned by management *Qualifications and Skills* * High School Diploma or GED * 1 to 2 years of experience in a Security Guard role or similar position * Proficiency with area security standards, legal guidelines, and public safety protocols * Certified in First Aid/CPR; self-defense, crisis management, communication and resistance management training preferred * Valid Security Officer License for Ontario * Working knowledge of the Criminal Code of Canada, Charter of Rights and Freedoms, and Ontario Provincial legislation *Core Competencies* * Exceptional observation and surveillance skills * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities * Effective team collaboration skills * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills for positive interactions with social-economic diversity * Sound judgment with the ability to remain alert and responsive when dealing with a high stress situation * Ability to follow instructions precisely *Working Conditions* * Schedule includes rotating shifts, including nights and weekends; overtime may be required * Job involves extended periods of standing and walking for extended periods, sitting will be at a minimum, and may require lifting objects as needed based on special request from the client *Why Join Us?* At Wolfpack Protective Services Inc., we foster a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
