ANHBC is currently seeking an experienced Temporary Preschool ECE who shares ANHBC?s valuesto join our Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House team www.froghollow.bc.ca. Neighbourhood houses are highly collaborative with a strong team framework. The right person for this position is passionate about community development, social justice and is values-aligned with our organization.
*About You*
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, flexible, and compassionate individual to join our dynamic child care team as an Early Childhood Educator in our Preschool program for 3-5 year olds at the Neighbourhood House.
*About the Position*
The Preschool ECE position is a temporary from November 12 , 2024 to June 30, 2025. It is responsible for the provision of an early childhood education program that fosters a positive, and emergent learning environment with a focus on the social and emotional well being of all children. We are an inclusive, multicultural, dynamic and collaborative child care setting which includes working with other educators to plan and implement a progressive and innovative program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, BC Early Learning Framework in concert with the values of FHNH. Other responsibilities include developing strong and collaborative relationships and communication with children, families and colleagues.

*Skills & Qualifications:*
· ECE Certificate
· Ability to provide programming based on the principles of the Reggio Emilia approach and BC?s ELF
· Strength in building and maintaining supportive and collaborative partnerships with children of all abilities
families, and colleagues .
· Creativity, initiative, flexibility, compassion, sense of joy, and enthusiasm
· Passion for ongoing professional development and growth
· Strong planning, organizational, leadership and communication skills
*Hours: *This is a temporary part time position at 27 hours/week, Monday to Friday 8:45 to 1:45 plus weekly meeting and curriculum time. There will be some evening workshops/meetings throughout the term.
*Salary & Benefits: *Hourly Salary:$22.88 (Salary Band C2), or Infant Toddler qualifications $23.21 (Salary Band C3) depending on skills and experience level. This position qualifies for the additional $6.00 WE.
Benefits include sick time, 6% vacation pay added to each paycheque, and professional development opportunities.
