Job description Slush Puppie is seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to transport products and equipment to our customers. This role involves safely loading, unloading, and delivering products, handling equipment, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate should be able to handle heavy lifting, have strong organizational skills, and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities · Product and Equipment Delivery: Safely transport products and equipment to customer locations on time. Ensure proper handling and care to prevent damage during transit. · Loading and Unloading: Load and unload products and equipment from trucks, using proper lifting techniques and equipment. Ensure products are organized and secure during transport. · Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on equipment to ensure they are in good working order and conducting minor repairs as needed. · Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of products and equipment loaded, delivered, and returned. Assist with tracking inventory levels and reporting discrepancies. · Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers during deliveries to ensure their needs are met and address any issues with a courteous attitude. · Compliance: Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements · Valid G license, with a clean driving record · Good physical condition, heavy lifting necessary (Up to 50 lbs) · Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items safely · Professional attitude · Strong attention to detail for inventory management · Excellent organizational and time-management skills · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, an asset · Experience with equipment maintenance and basic repairs, an asset Working conditions · Permanent employment · Monday to Friday daytime, 44 hours per week + possibility of overtime · Possibility of overtime, especially during the summer period · Primarily on the road with physical work involved in loading and unloading items · Some tasks may require outdoor work in varying weather conditions · Regular use of hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment to facilitate safe delivery and handling · Frequent standing, walking, and lifting required Salary · Starting at $23.00 per hour Benefits · Group insurance (depending on eligibility) · Access to employer pension plan (subject to eligibility) · Work clothes provided · Training provided, no prior experience as a technician required This position is a great opportunity for a motivated individual looking to contribute to a dynamic team.
